Black Belt Community Development Coalition is a nonprofit agency providing learning management, career development, and mentoring programs for residents in the Black Belt counties. We have six key program areas (Career Management, Neighborhood Revitalization, Education, Community Development, Healthcare Awareness, and Historical Preservation) programs will form partnerships with local non-profits, school districts, community partners, local governments, and local businesses.

 

Black Belt Community Development Coalition's goal is to foster a commitment to each Black Belt County that will promote community pride and unity, encourage the youth to plan for a successful future, strong interpersonal skills and career assessment opportunities, and reassert a sense of hope in the future.

 

Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give these communities the commitment to follow through on community ownership, a sense of pride and accomplishment.

 

Over time, Black Belt Community Development Coalition will create a learning environment that will be an invaluable resource to young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large.
